David Self - Corporal
One of the six Self brothers to serve in the Confederate forces. Four other brothers served in the 6th Georgia Infantry, Company C. Three of the brothers were KIA - Jefferson, Marion, and Lott. Columbus was wounded in action and survived. David and his younger brother Spencer both served in the Ga. 62nd Calvary.
