Served in the Siege of Knoxville Dec 1863 and the Kentucky Campaign. According to family history he was discharged after the battle of Chickamauga. He died 24 April 1913 and is buried at the Brassinger Cem. Okeechobee, Fla. We are distantly related.

Had right arm shot off on Sept 19, 1862 at Chickamauga while serving in Triggs Bridage. Mentioned for galantry for his service that day. Mustered out at Missionary Ridge in Oct 1863. Returned home to Lakeland Florida and died at age 84.
