Isaac Newton Nolen
- Private
Isaac was born about 1826 in Georgia. He has 4 cards in his archival file. In 1860 he is 32 years old married and living in Coosa Co. Ala. I do not have a date of enlistment. There is another soldier with the same name in DeKalb County Georgia whose archival records are comingled with his.
Family history has it that Isaac died in the battle of Chattanooga in 1863. His body is likely buried there in a mass grave.
Isaac's wife filed for pension #31355 and it was granted.
I will update this if more data becomes available.
