Hi Larry,

Just when was Fighting Joe Hooker relieved of Command? Also how stealth was JEB Stuart in his attacks in the North?
No one seems to know? Also just where is Gordonsville??

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

Gordonsville is north of Charlottesville; south of Culpeper.

Hooker was replaced by Meade June 28, 3 days before Day 1.

"Constant balloon accensions yesterday discovered heavy clouds of
dust occasioned by marching continuous bodies of troops in the
Gordonsville road..."

Love it!

Greg
