His horse is valued at $75.00 and his equipment at $45.00. He is appointed 2nd Sergt. on 3 June 1862. His unit is captured at Vermillion Bayou on 25 Nov. 1863. He is confined in the Customs House and sent to New Iberia for exchange. He rode with 3rd Corps Capt. Denman W Shannon's Company and 2nd Regiment Sibley's Brigade Texas Mounted Vol's.
